On October 31, 2020, after 12 successful years, Everett & Allie's closed their storefront with their final sale ever.  2020 was a crazy year all together and it was a time for reflection and reevaluation.  And the family decided it was time to do something different.   Therefore, making E & A an online store only.

In November 2010, Everett & Allie’s was chosen as the Meade County Area Chamber of Commerce Member of the Month. “The shop was selected because of its success during its first two years of operation; its support of the Chamber of Commerce; and its willingness to back community projects,” according to Chamber of Commerce President Kelly Roberts. “Owning and operating a small business is hard work, even in the best of times,” says Roberts. “That Everett & Allie’s has prospered during difficult times is a tribute to its owners’ keen understanding of their customers and skillful management of their resources.”

On June 2, 2008, as a welcome and introduction to the community, our local newspaper, the News Standard, composed a special article for us to promote our store and products. It was very complementary and much appreciated.

Donations/Philanthropy

We all know that giving back is important. It’s important to acknowledge our community’s needs by supporting when and where we can.

Local schools and churches are supported with donations of gift cards and/or merchandise for auctions held during various festival or events.

Hospice of Elizabethtown has gratefully received several donations of merchandise to be used in their Hospice shops.

Everett and Allie’s has also been a proud sponsor of the Meade Activity Center (MAC). We realize the importance of having a center such as MAC that will only help to add value to our community. When it was in its development phase, we supported their initiatives by sponsoring their various events and making donations to fundraising activities.

In 2010, we helped the Meade County Band Booster club on their quest to purchase an equipment trailer for the band. As the band travels often, it is a source of pride in our community.

On September 12, 2015, our staff donated their time to put Glitter Tattoos on all the children that attended Tucker Day down by the river.

Everett & Allie’s enjoys hosting special events to promote new products and holidays. Jewelry trunk shows and annual Christmas open houses are just a few of the ways we like to have fun and celebrate.

Everett & Allie’s Gift Shoppe held many trunk shows over the years. This was an exciting time for us as we introduced new and/or special collections.

Everett & Allie’s had their annual Christmas Open House every year on the First Saturday of November. Our favorite time of year!  We debuted all of the latest and greatest in Christmas!  We hosted with samplings of our Wind & Willow dips and Aspen Hot Apple Cider as well as holding drawings and give-a-ways. This was the event of the season!
